PK decklist 25/04/16

Another archetype for Darkness Dragon World, the almighty Purgatory Knights which have held reign in Tier 1 for the longest time in Buddyfight history. Ever since January 30th, the release of Buddyfight's 5th main booster, the name 'Purgatory Knights' have strike fear into people's hearts.

How Does The Deck Work?
It's pretty simple actually, no fancy combos whatsoever. The deck revolves around Purgatory Knights Leader , Demios Sword Dragon. By using him you are able to pull off 5-6 attacks every turn consistently. This easily punishes your opponent's life points if he is not prepared for it. Using spells like Abyss Symphony and Purgatory Knights Forever to rejuvenate your resources and continue your onslaught, this deck rarely sees a lack of resources to rush your opponent.

Purgatory Knights Leader , Demios Sword Dragon
This card is basically what makes Purgatory Knights playable in the first place. With an ability to re-stand with every Purgatory Knights it destroys, who wouldn't want to include him? This card is so important in the deck that sometimes if you don't draw him, the whole deck just crumbles and goes 'dead'. So for all the Purgatory Knights player out there, make sure you have 4 of him!

Purgatory Knight, Gairahm Lance Dragon 

A substitute to Demios, this card sometimes can help you win the game even if you don't draw your 'lord and savior' . With the ability to be a size 1 if your buddy is a Purgatory Knight, this card has an extremely strong ability and strong stats for a Size 2(Size 1 most of the time) . The Purgatory Knights archetype has a limited variety of cards to choose from due to their skills that needs to use cards with Purgatory Knights as their costs. A strong staple for the deck.

Purgatory Knights Forever 

This card is just ridiculously good, with a cheap cost of 1 gauge and 1 life, it allows you to salvage 2 Purgatory Knights monsters from your drop zone. This card helps prevent you from running out of cards to call even after you use demios's effect to destroy your other monsters. It allows the player to aggro their opponent's with a full board consistently without having to bet on their top decks.

Abyss Symphony

Not much needed to be said about this card, a staple across all Darkness Dragon World decks, this card allows you to draw 2 cards for 1 gauge which is extremely cheap. Purgatory Knights being a deck that doesn't rely too much on gauge meaning the gauge would most of the time be untouched so casting this would mostly not cause as a problem for the deck.

Black Dragon Shield

Another staple across almost every Darkness Dragon World deck, this card allow you to reduce damage dealt to you to 0. It allows you to reduce damage from spells, items, monsters and even Impacts!! That's whatmakes this card super strong and it is the only other kind of good defensive spells you have other than Midnight Shadow

Dark Energy

This card is good for the deck because it makes your Demios immune to cards like Death Grip when its attacking. One countermeasure many players have taken up against Demios are counter destruction cards. Demios being a monster without soul, can be destroyed easily. Dark Energy, allows you to nullify it's destruction once and also give it counterattack. So it can be used both offensively and defensively making it a much sought after card.

Death Grip

This card is just amazing, one of the best counter destruction card in the entire game, Death Grip has many uses. It has the ability to destroy a Size 2 or less on both yours and your opponent turn. Also it can destroy cards like Star Guardian Jackknife before they get their soul, which normally interrupts their entire plan. This also acts as a defensive measure as it can destroy the monster when its attacking. With so much versatility, its no wonder this card is worth so much!!
